Has anyone read 'Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea'?

there were sightings of it. but like u i can't answer that. but i can answer the second question a floating hull and gigantic wreck are heavy. and the monster was moving fast. so it couldn't be a hull or a wreck because those objects can't move fast in the water.
