Is "The End" in Apocalypse Now sped up?

I ask because it sounds, to me at least, like Jim Morrison's vocals has a higher pitch. It could just be different versions, of course. The version I compared it to was from the album "The Very Best of The Doors"(2007). Mind that I have little no to no knowledge of the technicalities of music, so please excuse me if this is a stupid question.
