What motive do creationists think scientists have to lie to the public about evolution?

Behind every lie, there is a motive; only the truth is without ulterior motive. So what motive would a scientist have to lie about evolution? I can see the motive a creationist would have to lie and give his congregation false and misleading information about evolution. Their motive would be to keep the congregation believing in the myths and superstitious nonsense presented as truth in their specific branch of Jesus horseshit. But I can’t see a motive for scientists to lie…
