My windows media player 11 does not open and it affects my vidoe streaming on you tube and other sites?

help,, anyone.... my wmp 11 does not open and i hav installed another wmp 11 many times and it still won't open... and also i hav downloaded all the flash player in the net and still i cant play in youtube...
