Can anyone tell me about West Chester University?

I'm considering transferring to WCU but still unsure. I guess I'm searching for a school with a diverse population and an active weekend life (I like to party but not a LOT). My academics and education is important as well. I currently go to Monmouth University where the people all look the same and it gets pretty dull on the weekends. I'm gay as well so if anyone can tell me about how WCU is about that, that would help.
