Have i broke my ankle?
Go to the hospital and get an x-ray. The ONLY way to determine if a bone is broken or not is by some sort of diagnostic imaging. Being able to walk on it or move/not move a body part tells you nothing reliable. If your mum refuses to take you on the grounds that the doctors will think there is some sort of child abuse going on... well, she IS committing an act of neglect by refusing to allow you medical attention, so she's technically more abusive by stopping you going. It's extremely unlikely that anyone will get social services involved - punch injuries like you had have a distinctive appearance caused by the mechanism of striking, and ankle inversion injuries do not resemble the injuries you'd get from being beaten or hit. Your mother is being paranoid and almost certainly imagining the undercurrent of suspicion. I don't know how old you are but clearly old enough to go on Yahoo answers and give a clear account of what happened, you are not a tiny who can't tell people how injuries happened. Go to hospital at the first opportunity. Leaving it untreated risks the possibility of permanent problems with the joint.
