How do i put this video on youtube?

Okay, i made a video on windows movie maker. It was a tv show that I edited together. So, I want to put it on youtube but it says it has to be in wav. format and right now it's in MSWMM format. My fiance tried to find out why we couldn't convert it and he said that its because the movie maker thing won't let me do it because of copyright stuff. But I would really like to know if there is any other way I can put it on youtube from the windows movie maker. Is there anything I can download?
